Micro Connections is a collection of hands-on, student-run businesses located within the Connections building. These microbusinesses give students authentic opportunities to build job skills, develop independence, collaborate with peers, and gain real-world work experience in a supportive environment.

Our Microbusinesses

🌸 Bloom Room
In partnership with Naperville Trader Joe’s, students receive donated flowers and create beautiful floral arrangements. Students deliver these arrangements weekly to District 203 schools and offices, as well as local businesses throughout Naperville. 🕯 Connections Candles
Students design and create soy wax candles, learning the full process from preparation to finished product.

🎨 Connections Cricut Co
Using Cricut Design Space and tools, students collaborate to create custom products such as stickers, coffee mugs, shirts—including designs for staff appreciation days, holidays and special events.

💎 Connections Bead Co
Students design and create beaded items for sale. They vote on themes and produce goods such as keychains, water bottle tags, and pens.

☕ Connections Corner
Connections Corner is a coffee and snack shop featuring products from all Micro Connections businesses. It is open daily to Connections students and staff and open to parents and guardians on designated days throughout the school year.
